I love winter... In LA

Kaylee and I have been exploring places where she can people-watch and explore some new things. Today, we stopped at the park at Venice Beach and sat on a blanket in the grass while we watched older kids play on the playground. It was the first time she touched grass. I hadn't really thought about the fact there would need to be a first time for that. I thank my Facebook mommy group friend for suggesting that it's something even a little baby can do.





Then, after our afternoon nap, we went out to the pool to do some people- watching there. And as we walked from the apartment to the pool and back, we touched the leaves of the plants in the courtyard.



So, new experiences and views today for the baby girl. And reminders to me of how even the simple things are new and exciting for someone who's only 20 weeks old.
