Shortcuts and Koalas

I took a shortcut editing these photos.  I have 132 photos from the Koala Conservation Centre on Phillips Island.  That's a lot of photos of koalas.  And some birds.  But mostly koalas.  Instead of reviewing every shot, tagging them appropriately, deleting the not-perfectly-focused ones, and rating them then going back to pick the best for this post, I skimmed 'em.  I admit it.  I failed at the goal I had set myself - to only post after I've reviewed them all so that I could keep track of which albums I'd reviewed and not feel like I still have to go back and eventually finish tagging and filtering.

I blame iPhoto.  Here's where I gave up: I have 132 photos, all of which I want tagged with 3 or 4 of the same tags, and all at the same location.  iPhoto doesn't have batch metadata editing.  After about 50 shots, I got pretty tired of copy-paste-type "Koala Conservatory."  It doesn't seem like much, but it was too much repetition with too little payoff.

So, these are the ones that I saw as I skimmed through.

Kookabura in a gum tree!
