For years I've been searching for the name of the prime time special that I described as, "sometime in the late 80s, when I was kid and we recorded things on Beta, and it was a Christmas movie where they search for Santa and it had the kids from the Cosby show and I don't know what it was called but I want to see it again!"
I have finally found it! At least, the name of it: Andy Williams and the NBC Kids Search for Santa. And some clips on YouTube that seem to be uploaded from someone else's Beta recording. But I'm still trying to find the whole movie. Help!
Mostly, I'm just glad I'm not crazy. Every year around this time I start searching for it, and am always sad that I couldn't find any evidence that such a special had ever existed. Having finally found it, I can calm down a bit.
