25 December 2012

As I go to bed tonight, at the end of this very special, but very different, Christmas Day, and think of my friends and family on the other side of the globe, not yet awake to celebrate theirs, I find myself grateful for a time difference that will allow me to share the continuation of Christmas cheer for another day.

We had a turkey dinner, including a jar of Ocean Spray jellied cranberries (just like mom used to make!) A long nap, a glass of wine, and now happily heading to bed.

I never imagined I'd have a Christmas quite like this one. I'm very grateful for it, for my family, for my friends, and for all the blessings and love in our lives.

Let the spirit of today be with us through the year.
